Y'know what, I have never seen Nosferatu the Vampyre but I did see the "sequel" (directed by a handful of Italians) called "Nosferatu in Venice". It was terrible. Even Kinski's expert scowling couldn't save it.
Yeah, that one from what I've read was never even actually finished. I have a pretty high tolerance for kitsch but I don't know if I need to do that one. I've seen Jess Franco's Dracula, and that was bad enough euro sleaze for the whole vampire angle. (Although I am fond of Jean Rollin's Requiem for a Vampire, which has girls dressed as hot clowns and car chases)
